Maize, bajra slide on reduced offtake
Press Trust of India New Delhi Prices of maize and bajra fell by up to Rs 35 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said reduced offtake from consuming industries kept pressure on the maize and bajra prices.
In the national capital, maize and bajra eased to Rs 1,500-1,510 and Rs 1,300-1,310 against last close of Rs 1,535-1,540 and Rs 1,330-1,335 per quintal, respectively.
