Maize, barley remain weak on higher supply
Press Trust of India New Delhi Maize and barley prices fell by Rs 40 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position.
Marketmen said fall in demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on maize and barley prices.
In the national capital, maize and barley prices fell by Rs 40 each to Rs 1,550-1,555 and Rs 1,515-1,520 per quintal, respectively.
