In restricted activity, maize prices declined by Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on low demand from consuming industries.
Other grains including wheat and rice basmati moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said sluggish demand from consuming industries against sufficient stocks mainly led to the fall in maize prices.
