Maize slips on reduced offtake
Press Trust of India New Delhi Maize prices drifted lower by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries against adequate stocks position.
However, other grains moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled at previous levels.
Traders said easing demand from consuming industries against ample stocks position mainly kept pressure on maize prices.
