Major fire in footwear factory in Jaipur

A major fire today broke out at a footwear manufacturing factory in Vishwakarma industrial area here.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The fire broke out in the three storey building at around 1 AM.
A total of 14 fire engines and tankers were pressed into service. The tankers ferried water more than a 100 times to douse the flames, chief fire officer Sanjay Sharma said.
"The factory, machinery, raw and manufactured material have been gutted in the fire," SHO Vishwakarma police station Kunwar Pal Singh said.
