Presiding over a meeting of the Uttarakhand Red Cross Committee at Raj Bhavan here, he said a network should be created in the state to make available ambulance services to people in all areas especially in hills.
The Governor said more people should become members of the Red Cross and promised to give one hundred members to it.
He said District Magistrates should see to it that health camps are held regularly in schools.
