The incident occurred when the woman, Usha was travelling with her husband, last evening.
The inspector allegedly kicked the two-wheeler for not stopping during a helmet-check drive and the couple fell down.
Citing a study, Haasan claimed that about 3.60 crore baby girls have lost their lives in the country due to female infanticide and the incident that happened last night in Tiruchirapalli was "no different."
