"Aravindan is at present on the ventilator in the ICU and is being carefully monitored by a team of senior doctors," a bulletin from Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital said.
"His condition is serious but stable," it said, adding, the team of senior doctors is led by Dr Thomas Alexander, Head of Cardiology Department.
The 72-year-old actor was admitted to KMCH on January 19 following a cardiac problem.
