A group of Malayali people meet Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at her residence today and extended support to Congress in the upcoming Delhi polls.
Dikshit said the Congress government has nurtured the values of harmony and brotherhood in Delhi and it is the only party which has been kept alive the spirit of unity and secularism.
The party in Delhi has been complimented for ensuring non occurrence of any communal trouble, she added.
"We are going to face a very crucial election on December 4. I am confident that Delhi will take the correct decision," she said.
Terming Congress and its values as her inspiration, she said, "If I was not a Congress person, I don't know whether I would have been able to achieve all this because right from the beginning, we are trained to think and to act in a particular manner."
Attacking BJP and AAP she said that both the parties have a common approach of misleading people.
While AAP is assuring people that they will end corruption, she said that even Congress is also striving to end corruption from its root and bring transparency but these kinds of changes are not possible over night.
Our party would strive for a single command to facilitate early implementation of the projects as multiplicity of authorities has been creating hindrances, hence resulting in the delay, she said.
