After holding a meeting with a high-level delegation of Malaysia here, state Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Yunus Khan said, "The government of Malaysia and Malaysian companies showed interest in the project of construction of 20,000 km long state highways."
A committee from Malaysia would soon conduct a survey in the state and give their formal proposal to construct roads on Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, Khan said.
The minister expressed hope that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard could be signed during investors' meet 'Resurgent Rajasthan' in November this year.
The 13-member delegation also held meeting with Jaipur Metro officials to explore investment in the second phase of Jaipur Metro.
