Leader of Malaysia's Keadilan Rakyar party Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the two discussed matters of mutual interest.
Ibrahim, a member of the Malaysian parliament, met the PM with two other fellow parliamentarians -- Kesavan Subramanian and Santhara Kumar Ramanaidu.
"The prime minister congratulated Ibrahim on his recent election as President of the PKR Party. He fondly recalled their last meeting in Malaysia in May 2018. The PM also conveyed his warm regards to Mahathir Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia," an official statement read.
The two leaders also discussed bilateral, regional and global matters of mutual interest.
