Malaysian sovereign fund sells 6% in Apollo Hospitals

Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings, an arm of Malaysian sovereign fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd, today offloaded a little over 6 per cent stake in Apollo Hospitals Enterprises for about Rs 1,070 crore through an open market transaction.
Pursuant to stake sale, Apollo Hospitals plunged by 5.42 per cent to close at Rs 1,249 on NSE.
According to bulk deal data available with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the fund has sold a total of 84,39,148 shares, amounting to 6.06 per cent stake, of Apollo Hospitals.
The shares were offloaded on an average price of Rs 1,267.46, valuing the transaction at Rs 1,069.63 crore, data showed.
Meanwhile, DB International purchased 39.26 lakh shares of the healthcare company for Rs 497.42 crore.
As of December quarter, Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings has 1.51 crore shares, or 10.85 per cent stake, in Apollo Hospitals.
