Yashpal Malik, the president of the All-India Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (AIJASS), which is spearheading the agitation, said, "The Khattar government is doing injustice to the Jats."
He alleged that yesterday, when the Jats in Haryana were observing 'Black Day', the Chief Minister's OSD Capt Bhupinder attempted to instigate the community members to resort to violence in Hisar.
"The protests, however, remained peaceful. More people are joining the dharnas each passing day," Malik said.
Meanwhile, the dharnas by Jats, demanding reservation in educational institutes and government jobs, continued at several places, including Bhiwani, Ambala, Hisar, Rohtak, Fatehabad, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Sirsa, Rewari, Jind, Jhajjar and Karnal.
