"Maliwal met the LG and discussed increasing crimes against women in Delhi and possible solutions to ensure their safety. Issues which have not been resolved and are pending since previous LG's tenure, including non-payment of salaries to contractual staff were also raised," a DCW official said.
Baijal has sought a detailed note on the suggestions of DCW vis-a-vis improving women safety in the national capital as well as the problems being faced by the commission in its functioning.
