Punjab cabinet minister Sikandar Singh Malooka today allegedly abused a policeman posted on security at the entrance to the venue of foundation stone laying ceremony of AIIMS here.
Head Constable Kamaljeet Singh alleged in front of media that he was abused by the minister who used foul and unparliamentry words.
In another incident, a woman was allegedly roughed up and taken into a jeep by security staff for shouting in her attempt to meet the PM while he was delivering his speech.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was here to lay the foundation stone of AIIMS.
Meanwhile, Punjab Congress termed the Badal government's "dictatorial high-handedness" after a policeman on duty at Modi's Bathinda rally was allegedly abused.
However, Malooka was not available for his comments.
Strongly condemning the incident, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) demanded an immediate probe and stern action against Malooka for his imperious behavior.
Congress demanded that the Prime Minister take cognisance of the incident and order immediate and exemplary action against Malooka.
