The director duo Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch, who were behind 2014 horror movie "Starry Eyes," are in final talks to rewrite and helm the sequel, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The original movie was directed by Andres Muschetti and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro.
