West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today asked her cabinet colleagues to concentrate on expediting various development programmes in their respective areas.
Ministers must ensure that various development projects are completed within the specified time-frame to benefit people, Banerjee said to have advised her ministers in a brief cabinet meeting here.
Sources in the state secretariat said that the CM also asked to fill up a number of posts created in different super speciality hospitals to provide effective service to the beneficiaries.
Vacancies also have to be filled up in the extended campus of North Bengal Agriculture University, Banerjee said.
