West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today paid tributes to late Bengali film director Rituparno Ghosh on the occasion of his second death anniversary.
"On this day two years ago, we lost Rituparno Ghosh. His passing away was a huge loss for Bengal. He is our pride. We miss you Ritu," Banerjee tweeted.
Ghosh, credited with ushering in a new wave in Bengali cinema by his trailblazing films like 'Unishe April', 'Dahan', and 'Chokher Bali', had passed away after a cardiac arrest on this day two years back at the age of 49.
