Attacking the CPI-M for its campaign speeches in which party leaders allegedly threatened to take revenge against the Trinamool Congress once it won the election, Trinamool chairperson Mamata Banerjee today said the Marxists would never get this chance.
"People in Bengal will not give them any chance for taking revenge," Banerjee said attacking CPI-M MP Md Salim and state secretary Surjya Kanta Mishra who had spoken on this.
"Those criticizing Trinamool Congress on the grounds of corruption and accusing us of killing people belonging to Opposition camp have themselves turned corrupt and killers during their 34-year rule," Banerjee said.
Targetting Mishra, who is contesting from this constituency, Banerjee alleged that he was one among a four-man brigade under whose direction terror campaigns and killings had been launched in West Midnapore district.
She also alleged, "Saradha and Narada all began during LF regime."
"Even as Mishra was elected from Narayangarh and became minister of two important departments...Health and Panchayat and Rural Development....He did nothing for the people of Narayangarh," she claimed.

"How dare these people are now giving lessons of honesty?" she wondered.
Taking a dig at the Congress, Banerjee said that they were suffering from an identity crisis.
"Both the CPI(M) and Congress are now fighting for their political survival. Foes in Kerala have now turned into friends in Bengal," Banerjee said mocking at the alliance.
Banerjee was confident that development work in Bengal would continue under her leadership and the CPI(M)-Congress alliance along with the BJP would be wiped out.
