Mampi lodged an FIR at the Ultadanga police station while the North Kolkata Rifle Club alleged that it was the Bengal International who assaulted a budding shooter Kaushalya Mondal at the range.
Mampi told PTI that she was "heckled and shoved" outside the Belgachia club "because of non payment of entry fees."
A silver medallist in Asian Championship in Doha last year, Mampi alleged that her fellow shooters were jealous that she is the only one from Bengal in the national camp.
Refuting Mampi's allegations, Karmakar who finished fourth at London 2012 said, "She is known for her attitude and ill manners. I respect her as a shooter but she has no dignity."

Putting across the blame, Karmakar, who also train at the same club, said: "The truth is Mampi became furious to see Kaushalya, a domestic help, use her lane. Mampi then flung the young shooter's gun that snowballed into a fight. I arrived half an hour after the incident this morning."
Echoing the same, Joint secretary of the club Dipen Ganguly said they held an emergent meeting to take strict action against Mampi.
He said Mampi had three years of entry fees in arrears amounting to Rs 1500.
