A 23-year-old man was allegedly abducted by four persons at knife-point from Sadarpur village here, police said today.
The victim's father in his complaint said his son was abducted last night when he went out, police said.
He said his son told his mother on phone that he would come back home after a few hours, but he later messaged his friend that he was abducted by four men, police said.
In his message, the victim also said the abductors were demanding a ransom and were keeping him at an unknown place, police said.
An FIR has been lodged and the matter is being probed, they said.
