Man arrested after biting SI's finger

: An inebirated man who reportedly bit the finger of a Sub-Inspector at nearby Krishnankovil after he was reprimanded for causing a public nuisance was arrested today, police said.
They said the SI had reprimanded the 40-year-old man for causing nuisance and mouthing obscene words. The man then suddenly bit his finger.
The SI has been hospitalised, police said.
