Pawan Kumar was arrested today for setting his wife Reena Devi (30) and his two children- five month old son Arun and 5-year-old daughter Anjali on fire on the night of June 5 at Hansawas village, 25 km from here, they said.
A case was registered against the accused, his mother Sunehri Devi and brother Daulat Ram following the complaint by his father-in-law Bhagmal on June 6.
Bhagmal, a resident of Basana village of Rohtak district had alleged that his daughter got married to the accused about seven years ago and was persistently harassed for money by him and his family, who burnt her and the children to death.
