Man arrested for fake bomb threat at U'khand's IMA

A person has been arrested for allegedly making a hoax call about a bomb being planted at Indian Military Academy (IMA) campus here, throwing authorities into a tizzy, police said today.
The police control room here received an anonymous call around 8 PM yesterday saying that a bomb had been planted inside the IMA, they said.
Following the call, SSP Pushpak Jyoti and SP (city) Ajay Singh, accompanied by bomb squad officials and dog squad, rushed to the campus and conducted a nearly three-hour search but found nothing.
Meanwhile, police conducted search for the man, accused of making the call, and arrest Anil Kumar from Naya Gaon in Patel Nagar area here around 11 PM yesterday, SP (city) Ajay Singh said.

Kumar made the call in an inebriated state. He was undergoing some domestic problem and and appears to be mentally unsound, the SP said.
