Man arrested for harassing woman

Police today arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly threatening and sending abusive messages to a woman and sharing her pictures on social media without her permission.
B Dinesh Singh (27), the accused, started harassing the complainant after she rejected his proposal of marriage, police said.
The woman once worked in the same company as Singh, and he had clicked her pictures without permission, police said.
He sent her pictures to her relatives from various email addresses, shared them on Facebook and also sent her threatening and abusive messages, she told the police.
Fed up with this harassment, she quit the job.

After she approached the police, Singh was arrested under section 354 of IPC (outraging the modesty of a woman).
Further probe is on.
