Sonu, a resident of Mandhan village in Alwar district, allegedly made a bid to outrage the modesty of a 20-year-old girl on January 29, they said.
The accused also threatened the victim against telling anyone about the incident.
Sonu was today produced in a local court, which remanded him to 14-day judicial custody.
A case of molestation and criminal intimidation was registered against the accused on the victim's complaint.
