Man arrested for raping 15-year-old niece

A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his 15-year-old niece in inebriated condition at his home, police said today.
The accused, Pappu alias Sultan Singh who was arrested yesterday, had allegedly raped the minor girl twice earlier. He was produced before a court today which sent him to judicial custody till March 19.
The girl was sent for medical examination, police said.
The girl was raped on Monday when she was alone at home and she, along with her brother approached police today, said Kaniz Fatima, Cicrle in charge of Mahila police station, Bundi.

The accused were labourers and had brought the girl to Palghar on the pretext of getting her a job, Assistant Police Inspector G B Mali of Valiv Police Station said.

The girl, who was taken to a chawl in Gorai Pada locality here by the accused, managed to escape and narrated the incident to her neighbours, following which a case was registered last night, police said.
The accused were today produced in court and remanded to police custody till June 20, they added.
