Man arrested for sexually assaulting 13-yr-old daughter

A 46-year old man was arrested here today on charges of sexually assaulting his 13-year-old daughter for the last three years, the Gurgaon police said.
The incident came to light on Wednesday when the victim, a class 8 student, told her teacher about the incident, following which her counselling was done by a city-based NGO, they said.
The girl was taken to the Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Jaipur by a team of the NGO, the police said.
They also registered a zero FIR at the Mansarovar police station in Jaipur which was transferred to Bajghera Police Station here, they said.

"The accused who was absconding after the crime was reported to the NGO has been arrested from Gurgaon," police PRO Ravinder Kumar said, claiming that during interrogation, he confessed to his crime..
He will be produced before Gurgaon Civil Court on tomorrow, he added.
