Man arrested for trying to run car over 'lover's' brother

A person has been arrested for allegedly trying to run his car over a man whose sister did not respond to his advances, police said today.
Kunal Verma was arrested last night for creating ruckus and for allegedly trying to run his car over the girl's brother when he was confronted, Sector 39 Police Station in-charge Amar Nath Yadav said.
The incident took place at the girl's house at Sector 40 here. The accused car barely missed the complainant and a guard, and hit the house's gate and vehicles parked near it, he said, adding a police team reached the spot and arrested the accused.

"During interrogation Verma said he had made romantic advances but the girl refused him. He recently returned to India after completing his studies abroad," Yadav said.
The officer said Verma had created ruckus at the girl's house in July last year. He has booked under relevant sections of the IPC.
