Man bludgeoned to death by friend

A 24-year-old man was allegedly battered to death with a mini cooking gas cylinder by his friend who suspected him of having "ill intentions" for his wife in north Delhi's Sarai Rohilla area, police said today.
The incident took place at house of the accused, identified as Aryan (32), in Shastri Nagar early today. He hit Gautam with the cylinder after the latter made some "vulgar" remarks about his wife, said a senior police officer.
Gautam's body was found lying in a pool of blood at Aryan's residence. The accused fled from the scene but was later arrested by police.

The duo used to work at a jewellery workshop in Karol Bagh.
