Man booked for wife's murder in Haryana

A man has been booked for allegedly killing his wife by administering poison to her at Lilodh village of the district, police said today.
Sanjeeta, wife of Dharam Vir Yadav of Lilodh village, about 6 km from Kosli, died in suspicious circumstances here late last night, they said.
In a complaint lodged today, Kishan Lal, father of the deceased alleged that Yadav killed his daughter by administering poison to her.
Based on the complaint, a murder case has been registered against Dharam Vir by Nahar Chowki police under Kosli police station.
Kishan Lal further alleged that Sanjeeta, who got married in 2004, was persistently harassed for more dowry by her husband, who killed her last night by forcibly administering poison to her, police said.
Sanjeeta is survived by a 7-year old son.
Police said that efforts are on to apprehend the accused, they said.
