Man commits suicide after killing minor son and daughter

A 45-year-old man allegedly suffering from mental illness, committed suicide by hanging himself after killing his minor son and daughter in Siwana area here, police said today.
Yesterday evening, Bhairaram allegedly murdered his 16-year-old daughter Mansi and 13-year-old son Pataram with an axe and later hanged himself from a ceiling hook inside his house, police said.
His wife was not present in the house at the time of the incident. Upon returning she found the bodies and informed police, they said.
Primary investigation has found out that Bhairaram was suffering from some mental illness and was under depression, police said.

"It might be the reason for the incident," they said, adding the bodies were handed over to family members today after post-mortem.
