Abu Taalim, who used to sell shoes on a cart in Gurgaon, hung himself from the ceiling last evening, a senior police officer said.
His family members alleged that he committed suicide as he could not get money despite standing in long queues. However, police ruled out this theory.
"Abu had borrowed money from his brothers and wasn't able to pay back. He was tensed as they wanted their money back. He was facing monetary issues and couldn't even manage his household expenses," the officer said.
