According to police, Deepak's father Shankar Prashad had been living with his daughter for two months leaving behind his wife, Kamla Rani, and the only son.
The victim's mother said that Deepak had been taking care of all expenses since his father had left. He was upset after they received a court notice stating that the house they were living in had been sold by his father.
The property was registered in his father's name, police said.
Deepak took the extreme step yesterday afternoon while his mother had gone to the court in connection with the said matter, they said.
