Kallu Lal Gupta was suffering from a lung-related ailment and yesterday, he was taken to a government doctor who also practices privately at a medical store, they said.
The doctor prescribed him three injections, which were bought from the same medical store, police said, adding that Gupta died soon after injections were administered.
Following his death, family members of Gupta created ruckus but the doctor and the medical store owner managed to escape, they said.
