Shanmugan Mohan, who was working as a documents carrier at the Italian Embassy, was severely injured when his motorcycle allegedly skid on Vinay Marg near Ashoka Hotel in the wee hours today. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, a senior police officer said.
According to police, Shanmugan might have lost balance and fell. However, his family claimed that he was hit by a vehicle, the officer said.
