house collapsed following an explosion at Thagaimalai in this district today, police said.
Karthick, in his early 20s, died on the spot, police said adding that the reason for the explosion was under investigation.
Police said some mysterious object kept in the house had exploded, bringing the wall down.
The house had been locked from inside when the explosion took place, police added.
