Man dies while performing trick at fair

A 50-year-old man died today after he slipped and fell down from a bamboo pole while performing a pole trick in a local fair in the Ratanpur village under the jurisdiction of Shyampur police station of the district.
The person was identified as a Kamal Dolui, a resident of Ratanpur village, the police said adding, he slipped from the top of a bamboo pole while performing in the local Charak fair.
A complaint has been filed and the body has been sent for post mortem, a police officer said.
