Man drowns in pond in Rajasthan

The body of a 24-year-old man, who had drowned in a pond last evening, was recovered today, police said.
The incident took place when Deshraj Gujar, an expert swimmer, had gone to take bath in Rameshawar Mahadev pond, a famous picnic spot about 18 kilometres from here.
He lost his balance and fell in, Mahendra Singh, ASI at the Dablana police station said.
Gujar could not come out of the deep water, most probably due to head injuries, Singh said.
The body has been handed over to his family after post- mortem was conducted, he added.
