Man electrocuted atop local train at Thane

A man was electrocuted atop a suburban local train here this evening, police said.
The mishap took place at about 5.40 pm, on platform no five.
The man, yet to be identified, had climbed on the bogey of Kasara-bound train when he came in contact with overhead electricity wire. The train was not crowded at the time.
The body was charred beyond recognition, said police.
