The incident created a scare, as security was beefed up in the airport in view of Independence day, police said.
After reaching the departure terminal, Rajadevan enquired with the Air India officials on how to go out from there. On suspicion, they questioned him and found that he has no travel documents, including flight ticket or visitor's pass.
After questioning, they handed him over to police officials, who were interrogating him to find out on his purpose of visit and how he managed to reach there without any necessary documents, police said.
