Man escapes after car turns turtle
Press Trust of India New Delhi A 30-year-old man had a close shave with death today when the car he was driving overturned near a flyover in southeast Delhi's Bhogal area.
The incident took place around 1:30 am when Mohit, a mechanic by profession was on his way to repair a car in Nizamuddin area.
"Mohit worked with an automobile workshop which sends mechanics to attend calls of car breakdown round the clock. He was driving a Skoda car and was apparently speeding to reach the customer quickly. As his car was descending from Nizamuddin flyover, it hit a speed-braker and turned turtle," said a senior police official.
Incidentally, a PCR staff which was on night patrolling and was stationed nearby heard the sound of the car crash and reached the spot and rushed Mohit to a nearby hospital where he was administered treatment and was discharged this evening, he said.
