Man falls off hotel building, dies

A 25-year-old man died after he fell from a three-storey hotel building in central Delhi's Paharganj area.
Anil Balmiki, from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, used to work as a sweeper at various hotels in the area, police said.
Inquest proceedings have been initiated in the matter, they added.
Police are trying to ascertain whether Anil jumped off on the intervening night of November 25 and 26 around 1.30 AM, or there was some foul play.
They are also examining if he slipped by accident since he was in an inebriated condition.
Police said they have found out he was facing some financial issues and hence also examining if this prompted him to commit suicide, police said.

Anil was rushed to a hospital but was declared brought dead.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, said a senior police officer.
