The film 'Govindudu Andarivadele' was today released.
The incident occurred in Yemmiganur town this afternoon. The deceased was identified as Kannaiah (22).
According to the police, Kannaiah fell down while making his way into the theatre. There was a great crush as viewers of the previous show were coming out, said sub-inspector Imtiyaz Basha.
He was taken to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Asked if there was a stampede, the officer said, "As of now we cannot say if there was a stampede, though there was a heavy rush. No one else was injured."
Kannaiah was to get married in a few days.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan announced an assistance of Rs two lakh for the deceased man's family, the police officer said.
