Wangdus Tsephel was found dead at his residence at Saspol village in Leh town, 434-kms from here, last evening, a police spokesman said.
After the legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family members for last rites, he said.
Inquest proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the cause of Tsephel's death, the spokesman added.
