Farooq Ahmad Shabangi was found hanging from a tree in the forests near Malikpora in Kalamabad area of the district, they said.
Shabangi had left home this morning along with his horse and later his body was found hanging from the tree, police said.
The preliminary investigations do not reveal any torture marks or any signs of resistance from the deceased on his body, they said, adding that the investigation is on in the matter.
