Man hacked to death by three persons, family kills one

A 38-year-old man was allegedly killed in Samerghat village here by three assailants, one of whom was beaten to death by the deceased's family members police said today.
Shivbahadur Nishad alias Mote was having dinner outside his house in the village when three people attacked and killed him with a sharp-edged weapon last night, Inspector VP Singh said.
The trio were chased by the family members of the deceased and they caught hold of one Shivbahadur Singh of Ramnagar Kot village, while the two others managed to escape, he said.
Shivbahadur was beaten up severely by them and later succumbed to his injuries in a hospital, he said.

He was in an inebriated state when he attacked the victim, the inspector said adding, old enmity was stated to be the cause behind the crime.
A case has been registered in this connection and efforts are on to nab the two other assailants, he said.
