Man hacks wife and two children to death

A drunken man allegedly hacked his wife and two children to death after a quarrel on a family matter with his spouse at Rajpur in the district, police said today.
The incident took place when one Manoj Das reached home in a drunken condition and allegedly quarrelled with his wife Sunaina Devi on a family matter before taking out an axe with which he attacked his wife and three children last night, Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said.
The injured persons were taken to the Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and hospital where Sunaina Devi (32), Guddu (8) and Shobha (6) died, he said. Another injured child Bablu (10) is under treatment.
Das has been arrested, Maharaj said.
