Man held for cheating job aspirants

A man was today arrested for allegedly cheating 30 job aspirants by taking money from them on the pretext of providing employment, police said.
The accused, C L Rama Rao, created a website 'goldenlandagrotech.Com' and cheated students by promising them job after collecting Rs 15,000 from each of them, they said.
Rao, who earlier also acted in some Telugu TV serials, took the money from job seekers towards registration fees. He gave them a fake office address and fled with the money, they said.
Following a complaint lodged by a victim, an engineering student, the cyber crime police attached to the Central Crime Station - a wing of Hyderabad police - nabbed Rao, police said.
