Mohammed Hussain, a resident of Nabi Karim in the walled city area, was arrested and police recovered 162 grams of smack from his possession and a car used for transportation of the drugs has been seized, a senior police official said.
Hussain was arrested yesterday on specific input from Ajmeri gate area during a vechile checking drive, said DCP central district, Devesh Chandra Srivastva.
During interrogation, Hussain, police claimed, confessed to having brought the drugs from Gohana in Haryana and Sadar Bazar slums.
He used to put the smack into small packets and sell in slum areas, said the official.
